About our school
Harewood Infant School is located in Tuffley, a pleasant suburb of the City of Gloucester.
It has large well equipped classrooms, a hall, and exciting new outside play areas. There is an ICT suite for all classes to use, with networked computers and an interactive whiteboard. Playing fields and grass areas surround the school with views over the city. Trees and plants make the grounds attractive and encourage bird and animal life. There is a conservation area and a quiet courtyard where our artwork is displayed.
George's playgroup is based in school and Tuffley Playgroup hold four sessions a week here. Harewood Infant and Junior Schools share the same site and there are close links between the two schools. Harewood Infant school is part of the Gloucester Schools Partnership.
In 2007, Harewood Infant School was awarded Healthy Schools Status, Activemark and in 2010 Artsmark Gold.

The School Day The door is opened at 8.45am. School begins at 8.55am and finishes at 3.00pm. This arrangement enables parents to deliver and collect children from both schools on the Harewood site. The lunch break is from 12.15 - 1.15pm.
On Fridays, we encourage all parents to bring their children into the classroom from 8.45am so the children can share and celebrate the work they have been doing during the week.
Our Curriculum Our curriculum is based around three exciting, whole-school themes each year. Please click on the links below to find out what the children in each year group are learning this year.
